Level Europe loses corona battle and files for bankruptcy
The curtain has fallen for Level Europe. The Austrian airline has filed for bankruptcy. All activities have been discontinued. In a statement, the airline states that it has been hit hard by the corona pandemic. Do you have a claim against the insolvent airline? Here is what you can do!
Corona pandemic final blow for low-cost carrier
Due to the corona pandemic, the low-cost airline could no longer operate flights from March onwards. Air planes were grounded, hardly any new bookings were received. The pandemic killed Level Europe.

The regional court of Korneuburg, Germany, has appointed a receiver in the bankruptcy of Level Europe GmbH. Do you have a claim against the insolvent airline? Tips for submitting your claim
The claim form is in German. If you do not speak German, try Google Translate, it goes a long way. Under the heading 'Gericht und Aktenzeichen', you can choose 'Landesgericht Korneuburg' in the drop-down menu for the first question 'Gericht'. For the second question under the same heading 'Aktenzeichen', enter the following file number: 36 S 54 / 20p.

If you recently booked a plane ticket and paid for it with your credit card, you can try to dispute the payment. Please contact your credit card company to discuss this option. Ask about the possibility of submitting a charge-back request to reverse the relevant transaction.
Level Europe vs. Level
The bankruptcy concerns the Austrian airline Level Europe, a subsidiary of the International Airlines Group (IAG). For the time being, the collapse of this airline does not seem to relate to the activities of the Spanish airline named Level. This entity is separate from Level Europe.
