What does the ECC do?

Consumer law is increasingly a European issue. As a result of the European single market and the explosive growth of the Internet, consumers are increasingly affected by applicable law in other European countries. Consumers rightly wonder what their rights are in relation to their cross-border purchase or service purchased. The European Consumer Centre (ECC) provides consumers with information and advice at no cost and in their own language. There is an ECC in each Member State of the European Union and in Norway and Iceland.
